EC FanGrid sets new benchmark for hospital cooling towers
A renowned hospital in Taichung pioneered the application, establishing the largest commercial application case in Taiwan.
As the medical system continues to pursue sustainable development, Taichung's well-known hospitals are once again at the forefront of the times!
Recently, the hospital's three cooling towers were completely upgraded, with a total of 45 EC high-efficiency fans introduced to build a complete EC FanGrid system.
This is not only the largest successful application case in the field of commercial cooling towers, but also a new milestone in energy conservation and carbon reduction in Taiwan's hospitals.
Three major value outcomes:
1. Energy saving and carbon reduction, immediate results
EC FanGrid utilizes precise variable frequency control and high-efficiency design to intelligently adjust air volume based on actual needs.
This move significantly reduces energy consumption and carbon emissions, allowing the hospital to maintain stable cooling performance while also contributing to Taiwan's sustainable development.
2. Digital management and intelligent operation and maintenance
Each EC fan can be monitored in real time for speed, power, and operating status. This data is integrated through the platform, allowing the hospital's logistics department to monitor the health of the equipment at any time, conduct maintenance in advance, and reduce the risk of downtime, truly realizing "smart cooling tower management."
3. Improved reliability and uninterrupted medical care
The FanGrid architecture allows multiple fans to share the operating pressure. Even if a single fan is undergoing maintenance, the overall system can still operate stably.
This highly reliable solution will not affect the temperature control requirements of the medical environment and provides strong support for hospital operations.
Milestone significance, moving towards a bigger picture:
This project is not only a success for a single hospital, but also a new model for commercial cooling tower applications in Taiwan.
45 EC fans operated in parallel, demonstrating strong energy savings and stability, proving that EC FanGrid can fully meet the stringent requirements of large medical institutions.
Next, this solution will be expanded from commercial hospitals to industrial-grade cooling towers, helping more industries improve energy efficiency and equipment management levels and move towards a low-carbon future.
EC FanGrid is not just an upgrade for cooling towers, but also an important step towards the era of smart energy conservation.
This project symbolizes the hospital's commitment to sustainable operations and also heralds that Taiwan's cooling technology is entering a new era!
